2016 was a rollercoaster ride for Northwestern sports fans. Expectations could not have been higher for the 2016 Northwestern Wildcats, who were flying high after a 10-win season in 2015. Unfortunately, the season got off to an awful start. The Wildcats lost their home opener to the eventual undefeated Western Michigan Broncos after QB Clayton Thorson fumbled out of the end zone for a late touchback, giving WMU the win. Things got far worse in the second week of the season, as the Wildcats lost 9-7 to FCS Illinois State, their first loss to an FCS team since 2006. After a bounce-back win over Duke, Northwestern fell to Nebraska, resulting in their worst start since 2007 and calls for the firing of long-time head coach Pat Fitzgerald. The Wildcats rallied in support of their leader, winning 3 straight games over Iowa, Michigan State, and Indiana. The Wildcats lost two tough games against Wisconsin and Ohio State but won 3 out of their last 4 games to secure a bowl appearance. In the 2016 Pinstripe Bowl, star running back Justin Jackson ran for 224 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Wildcats to an upset win over Pittsburgh. It was Northwestern's first bowl win since 2013, but a bit of a disappointment considering their 2015 season. After the football season came to a close, Northwestern's basketball team stole the hearts and attention of fans, securing their first berth in the NCAA tournament. This garnered some much-needed attention to the university. Outside of the NCAA, former Wildcat QB Trevor Siemian shockingly won the starting quarterback role for the defending champion Denver Broncos. Siemian managed to put together a decent season in the NFL and could have been selected to the Pro Bowl if it weren't for a shoulder injury. Siemian's emergence increases the pro potential aspect of Northwestern recruiting. Once again, there are high expectations for Northwestern's 2017 season. Many experts have given the Wildcats a chance to compete for their first Big Ten West Title. In addition to this, ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. has praised Junior QB Clayton Thorson, ranking him as the fifth best potential quarterback in the 2018 NFL Draft. If Thorson plays well enough, there is a chance he enters the draft a year early. Northwestern will have to target a replacement as a preventative measure. Head coach Pat Fitzgerald has high expectations for the Wildcats this season due to the fact that the Wildcats have many experienced players on both sides of the ball, such as senior running back Justin Jackson, and senior defensive backs Kyle Queiro and Godwin Igwebuike. However, the loss of star wide receiver Austin Carr will create a hole at receiver. The Wildcats are hoping Sophomore WR Bennett Skowronek will fill this void. Only time will tell if the Wildcats can finally live up to high expectations.

Yo never knew my dad he didn't care about me, dead horizon is all my macro-binoculars see. Moisture farming all my life and not a drop spilt, my aunt and uncle, double suns, I'm sippin' blue milk, aunt and uncle, double suns, I'm sick of blue milk.

So, I've been having problems with my copy of NCAA 14 game. I've tried to complete the UCLA game, but the game keeps freezing at the post-game highlights section. Unfortunately, I have decided to not continue this log. Sorry if you intended on following.
