MLBPPWORLD FANTASY WEEK 11 RECAPSOne Man Revolution (GoTwins24)
114.5Teiyo Tomozawas (MUFFINZ)
84.24Summary:One Man Revolution clinched their third consecutive playoff appearance with a comfortable win. Saquon Barkley put them in a great position with 32.5, which made up for new acquisition Terry McLaurin's disappointing debut. On Sunday, Cooper Kupp was the main standout with 25, and Chase Brown also continued his good season with 16. Russell Wilson was a disappointing pickup at QB, as Jameis Winston would have been the better play. As of now, their biggest concerns are with Jonathan Taylor and DST. They will try to clinch the 1 seed next week. The Tomozawas are now on a 2-game skid after their earlier hot streak. They can blame the Falcons for this loss, as Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts, and Atlanta's DST combined for just 5. Ladd McConkey and JK Dobbins were excellent, but not good enough to make the game competitive. They will need Davante Adams to somehow improve, as well as Rachaad White to continue excelling in Chris Godwin's absence, for their upcoming playoff fight.
Jahmyr Gibbs' Positional Value (Dishnet34)
174.2Nick's No Autopicks (PhilliesFan134)
101.04Summary:Jahmyr Gibbs' Positional Value catapulted themselves into the playoff hunt with a massive win. Taysom Hill stunned this week by scoring 37.5. Joe Mixon was also remarkable Monday night, scoring 34 to bolster the scoring total. Chris Boswell has remarkably been one of the fantasy MVPs this year, and he scored 24 this week. Jahmyr Gibbs was also good despite David Montgomery's continued presence. As it stands, Jahmyr Gibbs' Positional Value is in a strong spot with everyone healthy, and they will challenge for a playoff spot. It was a tough loss for Nick's No Autopicks, who slipped in the playoff picture. Jalen Hurts dropped off a bit from previous weeks, scoring only 18. But Justice Hill, Mike Gesicki, DeAndre Hopkins, and Deebo Samuel were major liabilities, combining for only 14. Solid outings from Tyreek Hill and De'Von Achane could not match Jahmyr Gibbs' Positional Value's domination. With the loss, it may be difficult for Nick's No Autopicks to launch a playoff push, as they are looking at a points scored disadvantage thanks to some rough weeks.
Wesley All Stars (Wesley)
120.58Detroit Phantoms (DTigers115)
116.74Summary:Wesley All Stars found their long sought-after first win in a nailbiter. Christian McCaffrey's return helped them significantly as he scored 12. But Justin Herbert was the key factor with a 24-point showing. Xavier Worthy, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, David Njoku, and Zach Ertz were all strong with around 15 each, which locked up the team's first win. Wesley All Stars were desperate for a win, but they finally got it thanks in significant part to Christian McCaffrey's return. The Phantoms saw their season end in heartbreaking fashion, losing to the previously 0-10 team. Nico Collins' called-back 77-yard touchdown would have kept them alive, but it was not meant to be. Their RBs sunk them this week, as Kyren Williams and Rico Dowdle combined for just 12 points. Romeo Doubs also limped to just 2 points. Jordan Love, Ja'Marr Chase, and Josh Downs were great, but it was just not enough to win it for the Phantoms. With their season over, they will look to play spoiler in the last two weeks.
Team Griffith (jag123jg)
81.24Goodells Security Team (Baseballteen9500)
159.06Summary:After a brutal 1-point loss, Goodells Security Team bounced back in a big way. This was largely due to Detroit's domination of Jacksonville, as Amon-Ra St. Brown and David Montgomery combined for 56 points. Jerry Jeudy and Will Dissly were unexpected heroes, combining for almost 40. New acquisition D'Andre Swift was also a key addition with 15. Brock Purdy has also put together a good stretch as of late, and he scored 18 this week. Ricky Pearsall was blanked, otherwise the team could have performed even better. With the win, Goodells Security Team boosted their playoff odds. There will be a new league champion as the defending 2x Champion was officially eliminated this week. It has been a rough stretch for them overall. Geno Smith was their leading scorer, but he only scored 15. CeeDee Lamb was okay, but Dak Prescott's absence has doomed him. RB has been rough for Team Griffith, as Nick Chubb, Rhamondre Stevenson, and Kareem Hunt have just not been good enough this season. Cedric Tillman and Rashod Bateman also struggled at WR. Now, Team Griffith will look to make it 3 in 4 in 2025.
North Pole Narwhals (AnthonyP)
111.94Mahomes on the Range (Lancer)
99.88Summary:After a rough 0-8 start, the Narwhals have now won three in a row, and they are probably wishing they would have caught fire earlier. Their good form can be attributed to Puka Nacua's return, as he scored 20 points this week. Patrick Mahomes has also been a bit better, and he scored 15. The rest of the team was passable, with Austin Ekeler performing well despite Brian Robinson's return, and Najee Harris and Alvin Kamara doing just enough. The Narwhals can continue to play spoiler in the last two weeks. It was a tough loss for Mahomes on the Range, whose playoff odds took a dip. This was due to Baltimore's loss, as Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry combined for just 24, which is okay but not enough to win. Christian Watson and Josh Jacobs were good, but Tucker Kraft was non-existent, and Darnell Mooney was injured. Tony Pollard struggled in a rough matchup. With the upset loss, Mahomes on the Range will have to fight for their playoff lives.
Chattini FC (Glassy)
122.98Atomic Pickles (AgentP)
122.24Summary:Chattini FC won a nailbiter in the closest game of the week. Kaimi Fairbairn's extra point in the fourth secured a late win and shook up the playoff picture. Tee Higgins was spectacular with 25. Josh Allen and Breece Hall were also great, and put them in position to win. This was despite bad games from Aaron Jones, DeVonta Smith, and Garrett Wilson. Had those three performed better, it would have been a bigger win. But with the second-highest point total, their 7th win has them in good position. The Pickles lost an absolute heartbreaker to fall down the standings. Joe Burrow continued his MVP-quality season with 29 points, and Brock Bowers was tremendous was 24. JSN was also good, and James Cook was a solid RB1. However, Tyjae Spears cost them the game with just 1 point, as they were significantly hurt by RB depth issues. Isiah Pacheco's return could help them out, but RB is still a difficult position for them. They are not out of things yet, but they will have to start winning quite soon.
