I gotta say, my parents kept switching between abc and NBC, and we just thought it was awful this year! NBC (I think) kept having the character from the office do weird stuff (putting lipstick on a guy blindfolded, people sticking tongues on a pole, etc) and abc (I think) kept asking people to vote for who Jenny McCarthy should kiss - since I was not in the running, I really didn't care.
