When opening up surprise bags, will you ever get the same item during the course of Success Mode when reloading?

In my efforts to get the Gamblers Ring, I noticed that each time I quit/reload and opened up the bag, I was getting a different item each time. Took about 30 attempts before I got the ring. Not once did I get another Swing Ring or Recovery necklace or any other item that I got earlier.

You can get the same item, even if you already have one in your inventory.
It's just based on how rare it is.
I can't count how many times i've gotten Candy or Powerin from Surprise Bags when S/Ling
