I say that it barely edged out the first Spider-Man and blew SM3 out of the water. There are a lot of things similar about this movie with Spider-Man from 2002. The main difference, though: The lead female didn't get kidnapped. Yay! I think the acting was better almost all around. Tobey did a great job so I won't say that Garfield did better. They both portrayed the character in different ways while still remaining accurate. Emma Stone was waaaaay better than Kirsten Dunst. I know, two different characters, but still. It helps that I have always liked Gwen Stacy better anyway. I would love to see the sequel to this AND see Spider Man in the Avengers 2. The Avengers part is probably too much to ask, though.

That's just a little bit of what I thought, but I don't want to bore you guys or anything.

Also, regarding the Avengers thing, to quote the great Brock Obama, "My idea for a cameo appearance in The Avengers for Spidey:

Iron Man is falling and he needs saved, then out of no-where Spidey saves him.

Then he says, 'everybody gets one' and disappears."

Verlander really did poorly...

Big lead for the NL after tearing up Verlander. 5-0 NL in the middle of the first.

I suggest go seeing it. Unless you are 1,000% completely loyal to Sam Raimi's version. I understand a lot of the people saying it was unnecessary, a lot of us grew up on it. If you are open to change, then see it. Gwen Stacy died in the comics which would be good storyline in the movies, but would suck for Stacy to have to leave he series.

Hamilton almost hit one over, but Cain shut 'em down. Verlander out for Joe Nathan.

I only go to the movies when there's the opportunity to go for free, otherwise it's really not worth it.

Did you not like the Avengers?
