I just can't believe it. I'll bet almost all of those people had their tickets for months and were just out to have a good time. Only to have their lives ruined by this low life.

And that makes it even worse, PPFan. Wow this sucks.

The Dark Knight Rises

This was a great movie and wonderful end to the trilogy. Was it better than the Dark Knight. This will always be asked. My answer, no. Does that mean the film is terrible. Hell no. One of the only reason it is not better than the Dark Knight I have without spoiling the movie, Heath Ledger. Ledger gave what I think will go down as one of the best performances of the decade in one of the best roles in a comic book movie. Tom Hardy will always be compared to Ledger, but Hardy really did a good job. This Bane was a far cry from the comics. A south American super strong villain through the use of a drug named venom who wears a wrestling leotard and a luchador mask. Somehow I didn't see that working in the Nolanverse. Which is why he changed it. Hardy's voice is chilling and is a wonderful villain.

Christian Bale gives what I think is his best performance yet. If you've seen the previous movie, you would know that Batman took the fall for Harvey Dent to protect the citizens of Gotham from losing all hope. Batman is an outlaw in Gotham and Bruce Wayne has turned into a hermit for eight years. The first fight with Bane is simply amazing. Probably the best of all of Nolan's Batman movies.

Anne Hathaway's performance was the best of the newcomers to the movie and of the supporting cast. She was everything Catwoman is (minus the cowl and bullwhip and cat related cliches) she also added humor to a movie that really needed a light point in all it's deppresiveness. She is shown as a poor person who does not like all of the rich people in Gotham, and is a great burglar. It is hard to determine whose side she is on a lot of the movie, but ultimately teams up with Batman.

The other two major newcomers are Joseph Gordan-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate. Levitt really kills it with his performance. An idealist cop who teams up with Batman when Bane shows up in town. Tate is at first a love interest who proves to be not all that she seems. These two are both very good as is the rest of the cast.

Gary Oldman plays Comissioner Gordan the only one who knows about the deal Batman made to take all the heat for Dent's crimes, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, the only one who truly knows and understands Bruce Wayne, and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, CEO of Wayne Enterprises and provider of all of Bruce Wayne's great gadgets. Gary Oldman's scene in the hospital was touching, but a bit rushed. Not anything to do with Oldman's acting, really just nitpicking. There are scenes with Bale and Caine that really shows the dynamic between Bruce and Alfred shown in the comics. And much better than George Cloony smirking over Alfred's death bed in the terrible Batman and Robin.

This was a lot more "comicbooky" than the Dark Knight. I'm going to compare this film to other films that were called some of the best comic book movies ever. Compare this trilogy to Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, and this blows it away. The Dark Knight Rises is just that little bit better than the Avengers. When compared to Richard Donner's Superman and The Amazing Spider Man, this movie kills. One thing I must say, see it in IMAX. It was amazing. Unrelated, but the trailer of Man of Steel was great in IMAX too.

Overall, while not as good as the Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises is a must see wrapping up one of the best trilogies ever.

Basically, the bogus company claimed that they owned the content in my update video, so they put ads on my video to make money off my video. After I made the claim, I noticed that the ads were immediately removed from my point of view, so I wondered if whoever watched it next would notice them.

People are *(censored)* idiots. Yet another reason to hate 9gag.

I'm not trying to defend 9gag (I personally never heard of the site until you posted that link), but here's what they put on the front page of their site:



I honestly don't know if this is true or not, however, but I don't think we should worry too heavily on this side of the story.

Guess I'll just have to keep my eye on the whole situation.

9gag isn't the most trustworthy site, and is full of some of the worst scum on the internet.

So, I'm still on the fence about believing them.

But this was a morbid crime, so I doubt they would lie.

I think it was because I used a microphone in that video, which always does that...or maybe it was because of my HyperCam...who knows.
