I doubt it.

Why would he need to? He's already instated himself as one of the best players in the MLB this decade. He wouldn't really need to go back to the NPB. Plus, he's old.

My point is, it's easy to finish the full 10 seasons in a relatively short amount of time. Which I have also done.

I have an old Reds season on 07 (I had finished season 6 or 7) which I haven't played for 3-4 years that I found a few weeks ago. I don't think I'll ever finish though

I'm very pleased with the Tigers' trade. I don't know much about Brian Flynn or that catcher, but I do know that the current pitching rotation simply isn't getting it done (Verlander is the only guy with an ERA under 4.00) and that second base has been a huge hole for us all season. Omar Infante will provide steady production there, while Anibal will prove to be a solid #2/3 guy, depending on how Doug Fister does from here on out. And remember, even the most highly touted, can't-miss prospects still miss, and a team that's leading the division in late July needs someone now.

I see where you're coming from, but I don't see Sanchez as that. The Tigers have the best pitcher in baseball, and then a group of inconsistency. The other guys seem more like #4 starters who every one and a while, pitch like a #1. I don't think that cuts it in the playoffs, you need to be able to bank on your starters to perform. Not to mention Sanchez is a free agent at seasons end. Infante is OK, but all everyone seems to remember is his hot April. He's hit one homer since and his average is slowly declining, and his age is not. I don't remember who their second baseman was (Raburn?), and while Infante is probably an upgrade, I don't think he's enough of one to make much difference

Scherzer and Porcello are definitely extremely inconsistent. Doug Fister is a good pitcher, but he was injured and is just now getting back into things. Sanchez, however, is consistently a #3 guy at least.

And yeah, 2B was a combination of Raburn, who's batting like .170, and Ramon Santiago, who's around .220. Infante is definitely better than both, and he's only 30, while Raburn is 31 and Santiago is 32.

Oh wow, he's younger than Raburn. I always though Raburn was like 26... Although, I think Raburn has been on fire the last week or so

EDIT: Not Raburn, Boesch has been hot

Yeah, he's been sort of a utility man for 5 or 6 years now.

He had a pretty decent June, but he's been awful again in July (.146 on the month.) Basically, he's the new Brandon Inge, except he can't field.

Ugh, that is worse than Ike Davis in June, he batted like .167

Oh, yeah, he's been good lately.
