Speaking of baseball books, the elementary school library had a bunch of them by Matt Christopher and I would read every single one of them.

It would be nice to make a Success team made up of the main characters from those books. I wish I did that with one of the PGL teams.

Matt Christopher rocked. Loved them books. In sixth grade we had to bring silent reading books to class for a grade and my unorganized self forgot so I got a Matt Christopher book out of my locker. It was like 100 pages or so. My teacher looked at me funny and said he would expect something like this from his eight year old son. Still got credit. There was no denying it was a book. Loophole=found.

What about the Mike Lupica books?

Lupica's excellent. He's probably my favorite sports author.

What would be your immediate reaction to a girl you really like reportedly (Facebook update) breaking up with her current boyfriend?

Finished up a 5-4 Exhibition win over teh Pirates with the Reds. Leake went 7 solid innings until the game was tied 3-3, after which Joey Votto came up in the clutch and hit a two-run bomb to right in the top of the 8th. It was tight as they got a run off in the 9th Nick Masset trying to close it out but Madson came on and the defense got him a DP for the save.

I forgot how fun this game was and putting the difficulty up to Expert keeps the game close and more challenging.

I can't wait to get into Season mode with these updated teams. Should be fun.
