Depends-
Any 9-inning exhibition will give you 2000. even wii remote. That should go quickly.

Success Mode gives 6000 but it takes a long time, and points only come if you finish successfully.

Home Run derby (wii remote) can give you 2000-3000 points if you can hit over 60 - which isn't hard with a A/B power hitter, although your shoulder may get tired.

Thanks....Trying to get the 100000 for the arrange team unlock.

guess I just have to widdle away. Seems like home run derby might be the fastest , if not most tiring. 50 exhibition games seems like a long time.

Yeah, I'm at about 20000, but I bought almost every batting stance and many pitching stances and a few baseball cards. If I didn't I'd probably be around the amount needed for the Arrange Team.
I'm focusing on creating my own Success Mode team, so I guess I'm killing two birds with one stone.
Season Mode games also give you 2000 points.

5 exhibition games should take about an hour (once you get a lead just get out on purpose to go quickly). Then, you only have to play for 10 days to get 100000.

Thanks for the tips....Gonna save for my arrange team first. Than im gonna start a season with rosters updated the best I can.( with maybe a few success guys thrown in)

After that I will start buying the other things , with points from season games.

Also I had an Idea , for players not on any roster but on MLB depth charts, you can create them in success mode and try to bring them up on some aaa rosters.

Sneaky sneaky way to earn points FAST!

alright... just as you assure yourself of victory in success mode (6k points!), SAVE!!!

The best "point grabbing" scenario is not be captain for the champion rings game, lose, and get contract via scout evaluation (the rest of the situations take more time to go through).

*The following may be out of order, not working on success mode atm.
Play it through.
You see char custom screen. CANCEL DO NOT SAVE DATA!!!
You see update profile screen. DO NOT SAVE DATA!!!
You get the points. SAVE main data.

And you're back at the main menu.
Now, you've gained 6k points, but your save is STILL THERE!

Repeat as needed.

This works on the Wii version only as of right now (i dun have a PS2).

Yeah I was thinking about that the other day -- I lost to the CR but got the minor league contract... I canceled until I got to the points screen, and it came to me. Why not save the points and go back and try again?

Money

Bad bump.

I've submitted the "guide for sneakiness" to GameFaqs and it's under review. Hopefully it all pulls through I'll post a Link here soon.

Alright, since GameFAQs refuses to see that this is a reasonable secret... I'll post it here and keep it to this site.

Thats hilarious considering that the majority of us here didn't know about it but now all use it.
