The PS3 isn't region coded, as far as I know, so it SHOULD work...

Every single other Japanese game has worked for everyone here with a PS3. I don't see any reason why it won't work.

People who play Jikkyou Powerful Pro, does the box usually say "Japan only" when you get it?

It said that on my copies of '10 and '11.

You should be able to play the game just fine.
