So I hear the Phillies might possibly shut down Halladay and Worley later this season. I guess when the Phillies fall, they fall hard.

The NL has gotten much better this season and the trend doesn't look like it's going to stop.

I just don't see anyway the Phillies can right the shift, at least not next season. You have the Braves and Nats in the East, Reds, Pirates, and Cards in the Central, and the Giants and Dodgers out west. With all the good teams, the future looks bleak in Philly...

I'm a fan of the Sixers but they fall behind the Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers right now.

I was at a TinCaps game (Class A, Padres) and the game was suspended in the 2nd because it was raining so hard. I took a couple pics and a video to post later. The TinCaps pitcher, Matt something, was GOOD. His fastball was at 94/95 and hit 97 at least once, and he threw a good offspeed pitch (saw one at 76 mph). He threw strikes too.

My good chum AgentP is expressing his disapproval of a create-a-player feature in the Power Pros series. I too echo these sentiments, as I like the fact that the game makes you work a little bit in order to make a player you want.

Aww, OK. Sure create-a-player would be nice, but it completely devalues Success Mode. And without Success Mode, it basically becomes "just another game"
