It should be shown. If someone can't stomach it or doesn't like the messages, that's their problem. There is a no texting law in the state I live in, but it's impossible to crackdown on.

Show the video, we need to show what really happens when people text and drive, You might be able to cut out the last 30 seconds or so.

Just before the commercial airs put on a message that says, "Please remove anyone that cannot drive from the room, video has graphic conten." Or something like that.

Unfortunately, some are going to watch this video and go, "Oh, that won't happen to me." I was reading some of the comments and one read something along the lines of having the childs brain or something spilled out on the back of the car to help the impact.

But for sure, show the commercial. It's going to be the only way to show what really can and more than likely will happen if you text and drive. More often than not, it's teenagers that are doing to the texting and driving. Even with laws, it's going to be nearly impossible for police to see someone texting and driving.

How graphic is it?

after the crash, the people are bleeding like crazy, and a few of the people are dead.
Lots of blood though, mainly.

its sad that stuff like this can happen, its a part of life but this is one of the laws that is possible to break easily and that video is a great exanple

Its a risk that people take. You should always know what can happen if you do things. Look at the movement against smoking now. They are suppose to post pics of people with mouth cancer on the packages in a few years.

Well, not necessarily that. It's just going to depict what happens when you smoke.

Being the old geezer on here.....they used to show stuff like that in drivers ed. you can see worse just watching a pg13 movie nowadays. show the video in drivers ed, bring back all the old goodies we used to be forced to watch. just keep to drivers ed, otherwise there's not much point in it.
