this one is to all the die hards, let's keep this site and game going here in the states!! K2 is playing a cruel joke on us but let's not let them destroy our community. let's do what it takes to keep it alive and strong even if that means getting a fellow power pros player to teach you some Japanese! at least until Konami releases it themselves... i actutally messaged them on Twitter tonight asking them what the deal was with our game. hey anything's worth a try at this point

Maybe twitter will do something, 2k admin ron does Twitter for a few of his crappy games so maybe he'll look at it

but 2ksports has not announced it not coming to the US
2k ron told the all pro football guys that their game wasn't coming out so I'm sure he would tell us if it wasn't coming out

I say we all get account on the 2K forums and we all make dozens and dozens of posts, threads, and everything else abuot Power pros 2009, then they can't ignore us! Destroy the headquarters! Refuse to buy other games! Make up rumors! Anything! Can't we all ban together?

While I'm all for picketing and such, let's think logically. Power Pros 2008 easily outsold the first version, which of course led to the sequel. The 2K people are "not giving up on the Power Pros series". As you all remember, the games came out AFTER the season had started. So, possibly, they are moving the game to the Opening Day lineup! So, rather than make 09 in March, they'll give themselves some more time to produce a quality game in March! This makes sense to me, but I'm not sure how you guys feel. I'll tweet the 2k guys. What's their Twitter URL?

Yeah but PP08 was released at the end of July.

The first one (pp07) came out in October.

I agree. I'd rather settle for an excellent 2010 game instead of an average/rushed 2009 later in they year and waiting for 2010 as we usually would. After all, we still have 2007 and 2008 to perfect. As good as the Japanese version looks, we can wait an extra 5-6 months for an AMAZING Power Pros 2010.

If they continue success mode, what do you think will be the story? First college, then the minors. Now what?

I hope it's the success mode it would have been for 09, with the same teams as 08 and being able to play for different teams. I've always wanted to play for the MachSox.
