The first thing I did was ship Barry Zito and a bunch of minor leaguers to the Blue Jays for Dustin McGowan!

The Baseball Mogul demo is pretty fun. I like how you have unlimited time to play it, unlike OOTP and their seven day restriction. In terms of depth and statistics, I'd much rather have OOTP. I'm a stat head.

To get on-topic though, I hope to God you don't decide to trade away your entire farm system for Albert Pujols or anybody like that...

P.S. Rich Harden is the best pitcher you can pick up in this game. When he's healthy, expect to see 250++ strikeouts and twenty wins with a 2.20 or lower ERA.

I hate to be mini missing but dr k has a log that isn't power pros and it's in season so I guess that should be here too

i screwed with the giants in another save game, and i ended up trading basically everyone away.

i want OOTP10 too, i just need to convince my parents to let me download it (and to make sure i CAN download it, I've had problems with the oledlg.dll file not showing up so that i can't play the OOTP9 demo...)

btw, the two number you see beside players are their current overall and their peak overall, which change throughout the season.

I traded Pablo Sandoval, a bunch of minor leaguers, and $15,000,000 cash for Albert Pujols.

Baseball Mogul is fun, but being a stat head I prefer Out of the Park. My favorite thing though is the minor league system, all the way down to a Rookie leagues. I also like how you can trade more than 3 people. So I can actually build a package of prospects built around, lets say Robbie Grossman for a total of about 5 prospects instead of having the limit on 3 per team.

yeah, i made an 11-player trade with the angels.
i traded tim lincecum and 4 scrubs for lackey, hunter, guerrero and three prospects.

now trade some more scrubs and get Lincecum back!
